My weight control program typically involves 8 sessions that address various issues such as portion control, appetite control, food choice, motivation, exercise, stress reduction, and better sleep.
A medical referral is required for those who are overweight by 25 pounds or more or who have a history of an eating disorder.

Smoking Cessation

My smoking cessation program includes 3 sessions. I typically recommend the first session be used to prepare you for quitting at the second session, with the third session used for additional reinforcement. Those who are highly motivated and prepared to quit in the first session can use the subsequent sessions for reinforcement or for learning additional general relaxation skills.
